Share the Joy!
On Christmas Eve many years ago, our pastor at that time struck up a conversation with a man in our community who had fallen on hard times. When the pastor learned that the man had no gifts for his family, nor even a Christmas dinner, he was moved with compassion and bought gifts and a basket of food for the family with his own funds.
The next year he shared that experience with the church, and out of it, a new ministry was born. Each year at Christmas, we work with the Resource Center at Woodford County Schools to provide Christmas gifts and food baskets for families with school-aged children.
